Disaster Status Control Center
In charge of the disaster situation room collecting and analyzing information on disaster damage.
Innovation and Personnel Officer
In charge of reform of administration managing the organization and allocating personnel.
Discharging personnel affairs of those affiliated with the agency including citations and auditing.
Public Information Officer
In charge of disseminating information to the public on on disaster prevention works conducted by NEMA.
Planning and Budget Officer
In charge of drafting important pieces of work, readjustment, budgeting and business related with parliament. The officer is also in charge of legal and international affairs and other activities related to overall planning and readjustment of NEMA? operation plans.
Information and Communication Officer
In charge of planning businesses related to information and readjustment of planning businesses. The officer is in charge of the operation of the National Disaster Management System and the disaster prevention portal site.
Mitigation and Planning Division
Drafting of civil defense & disaster prevention policies.
In overall charge of planning policies for national and regional safety management.
Civil Defense Planning Division
In charge of plans for civil defense matters as well as guidance and supervision.
Investigation of damage caused by civil defense activities.
Fire Administration Division
In charge of fire service legal matters and draft and legislation of fire service and research on the fire service and its operation.
Technological Disaster Management Division
Legislate integrated plans on man-made disasters.
Mobilization of materials and their management.
Public Cooperation Division
Citizen participation in safety programs and the development of education and public relations programs for distribution.
Raise citizen? awareness for disasters through safety exercises.
Response Planning Division
In charge of overall planning for fire service personnel system and its research.
Emergency disaster and accident site leadership management.
Fire Suppression Division
Drafting plans for putting out fires and investigation as to the cause of fires.
Renovating laws on voluntary firefighters and full-time firefighters.
Rescue Division
In charge of legislating matters related to disaster rescue and relief and setting up emergency rescue system.
In charge of businesses related to the National 119 Rescue Service and Fire Aviation operation.
Facilities and Equipment Division
Overall planning for fire service facilities and their standards
Fire service related products and fostering of related industries.
Supervision of the Korea Fire Equipment Inspection Corp.
Preparedness Division
Drafting laws on matters related to natural disasters and its planning and coordination.
The operation of the Headquarters of Disaster Control and Safety.
The declaration of a regional disaster area and its lifting and building a system for disaster rescues.
Recovery Division
Overall plan for disaster recovery and relief for disaster victims and recovery work.
Organization and operation of the national joint inspection team to survey disaster damage.
Technical Support Division
Set up policies related to safe management of disasters.
Fostering of related industries.
Establishing standards for disaster prevention matters.
Assessment Division
Overall readjustment of evaluation of disaster management and the operation of the Disaster Impact Assessment System.
Civilian sector activities for disaster management and nurturing their growth.
General Services Division
In charge of providing support to NEMA employees so that they can devote themselves to saving lives and protecting property taking care of the employee? welfare matters and executing the budget among other things.
